Practice Areas

BSWB's practice groups are in place to respond to the wide range of both domestic and international insurance company needs.

Current practice areas include all aspects of Insurance Coverage with a focus on business and Professional Liability lines, Reinsurance, Litigation and Arbitration, Corporate and Regulatory Insurance , Underwriting Consulting and E-Commerce.

All clients are viewed as clients of the firm and lawyers from different offices and areas of expertise often work in multiple practice areas as a team to provide the best service possible and to meet the needs of each particular matter. For example, regulatory attorneys assist coverage counsel where a regulatory challenge is made to a coverage provision or position, and both coverage attorneys and litigators work with lawyers with underwriting experience to evaluate the significance of exposures that may result from a particular coverage grant or revision to coverage language.
