Jill Levy acts as monitoring and coverage counsel for major professional liability lines, including directors and officers liability, bankers and financial professional liability, errors and omissions, fiduciary liability and employment practices liability.

Presently, Jill represents several carriers with respect to potential exposure arising out of numerous large corporate scandals, including WorldCom, Enron and IPO Laddering litigation. Jill has been involved in the mediation of several large claims and participated in the negotiation of policy settlements.

Jill is currently an active member of the Insurance Law Committee and the Directors and Officers Subcommittee for the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

For the past two years Jill has spoken at the American Banker's Association Insurance Risk Management Annual Conference and participated on panels addressing the recent trends in directors and officers liability. Jill's comments at the Conference were quoted in a subsequent article in Business Insurance.

Prior to joining BSWB, Jill practiced for several years representing Fortune 500 companies in the areas of securities fraud, antitrust, product liability, trademark, trade dress and labor law. Jill has also participated in several federal trials, including a trademark case concerning the corporate name change following the merger between a major bank and an insurance company. Jill has also participated in various NASD arbitrations and has represented former corporate directors and officers before the Securities Exchange Commission.

Jill also serves as a volunteer attorney for the Network for Women's Legal Services and the Unemployment Action Center.
