Michael Chester's practice consists of representing the interests of insurance companies in claims arising from professional liability policies, particularly in the area of directors and officers liability. Michael also actively litigates cases on behalf of insurance companies in jurisdictions across the country.

Among his other assignments, Michael is currently acting as monitoring counsel for an insurer with potential exposure due to an adversary proceeding in the In re Enron Corp. bankruptcy case.

Before joining BSWB, Michael amassed an extensive amount of experience in complex commercial litigation. His duties included defending and taking depositions, drafting motions and pleadings and conducting legal research in a wide variety of topics. Michael's previous litigation experience included cases involving fraud and breach of fiduciary duty by corporate officers and directors, various partnership disputes and class action lawsuits.
